We need costumed volunteers to work in our living history museum to interpret life as it was in a nineteenth century farming community on Long Island. You might find yourself cooking on an open hearth, working in the general store, or serving root beer in the village tavern.
Currently, we are also seeking volunteers to care for the animals on our 19th century-style farm. Training will be provided but you must be comfortable working with large farm animals like cows, oxen, sheep, pigs and goats and be willing to clean their stalls, etc..
