Thanking our Veteran's for their service to our country is part of our hospicec care. Alliance Hospice, located in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) is part of NHPCO's We Honor Veterans Program. Many of our patients have served in the US Military during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and in the Middle East.
Our hospice aims to honor our Veterans by hosting pinning ceremonies and providing an American flag and Certificate of Appreciation to our Veterans. Please join us on Veteran's Day(Virtually OR Socially distanced) and throughout the year to visit patients who have served our Country! It is our way of saying, "Thank you for your military service."
Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey. During 2020 many of our volunteer opportunities had transitioned to VIRTUAL opportunities...now we are re-engaging volunteers Virtually & at a Social Distance - Contact Volunteer Program Coordinator Theo Eghdami @267.858.1088 or TEghdami@alliancehospice.com for additional details.
