Do you love the beauty of lighthouses? Admire how they can help a ship travel through a difficult storm? Our bereaved clients are weathering the storms of grief.
Our bereaved clients NEED your light of compassion and your willingness to listen. Be someone’s light, Become a Bereavement Volunteer.
As a bereavement volunteer you will call to check in on families, send out cards, and participate in annual Memorial Services. Your compassion will help remind families that support is still available.
Bereavement training will be provided as well as shadowing opportunities. Bereavement support is a great opportunity for members of the humans services field to grow and strengthen their skills as providers and clinicians.
A member of the Volunteer Department will contact you shortly!
