The Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon's HIV Services programs are communities that strive to address basic needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS in a manner consistent with the values of respect, compassion and safety. We provide a safe space for low income and homeless HIV+ people to get two hot meals a day; showers, clothing, laundry, job and housing search assistance. As well as a safe space to just relax and enjoy socializing. We have needs for volunteers in the following areas

  • Kitchen & Dining Room Helpers
  • Social Support
  • Health & Wellness
  • Recovery
  • Hair Stylists
  • Gardening
  • Massage Therapists
  • Crafting Activities

Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-3pm, and Wednesday 9am-12pm

"Ecumenical Ministries HIV Services Program is a community of clients, staff, and volunteers that strive to address basic needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS in a manner consistent with the values of respect, compassion and safety.

Description

The HIV Services program operates a Day Center which offers a place of care, respect, and support for people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. The Center provides nutritious meals on-site daily, as well as counseling and a variety of critical support services. HIV Services also provides high quality home-delivered meals to homebound clients through our Daily Bread Express (DBX) program.
