Need customer service experience? Or health care experience? Or need to network for a future job and applications? If you volunteer 50 hours, you qualify for a reference, up to a year, by the Volunteer Coordinator. More information and restrictions upon orientation.
Providing an individualized care of physical, emotional, and practical care all with the emphasis of pain and symptom management. Brookdale Hospice emphasizes comfort, dignity, and respect; we believe to focus on both, the patient and family, to provide the absolute best care. Brookdale Hospice volunteers receive special training to provide support to hospice patients and their families at end of life.

The philosophy at Brookdale Hospice is that life is much more than physical health; it also includes the health of the human spirit. When physical health begins to fail, the nurturing of the spirit becomes critical for maintaining the dignity of the individual.
Hospice is a philosophy of care focused on comfort and quality of life at the end of life. It's designed to treat the whole person emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically by providing comfort and support to patients and their families.
