The Friends & Foundation of Albany Public Library host a weekly book talk in person each and every Tuesday at the Bach Branch garden.

Book talks include reviews of timely and classic works, as well as author talks and special programs. The book talks are free and open to the public. Talks run from 12:15 to 1:30 pm every Tuesday. Book Talks have taken place on Zoom since July 2020, and take place outdoors at the Bach Branch garden beginning in September.

The Friends & Foundation currently are looking for a dedicated reception volunteer, who can speak with arriving guests and answer questions about other Friends & Foundation programs.

And, the Friends are always on the lookout for book reviewers! If there's a title that you would like to review, respond to this ad and include (1) a Tuesday that you are available (preferable 3-4 months away) and (2) the title of the book you would like to review. We will pass along your information to the Friends programmer.
