Do you speak Polish and want to befriend a senior? Then this is the ideal opportunity for you!
The goal of the One to One Program is to reduce loneliness and isolation that many nursing home residents experience. One to One matches volunteers with nursing home residents, for personalized weekly visits. Volunteers commit a minimum of one hour, once a week to their resident in order to develop a meaningful and lasting friendship. All volunteers will be required to attend a 2 hour training session to help maximize and support the experience.
