Thanksgiving Dinner Promotion

American Family Housing will be working with local supermarkets to raising money at their registers to help feed families that would otherwise go without a Thanksgiving Dinner. Ready-made meals will be assembled at participating locations and dropped up at AFH. On the Monday and Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving, AFH will distribute these meals to formerly homeless and low-income families and veterans in Orange County. Please consider helping us to promote these donations at the store.

An AFH Staff will drop off flyers the day of your volunteer shift or you may ask the store manager for flyers. Volunteers (working in pairs) will hand out a flyer to customers as they enter the store, encouraging them to please consider donating at the register to help provide a Thanksgiving Dinner for those in need.

Sign up below for as many shifts as you'd like and, after doing so, please print and complete the 'Volunteer Agreement' form found here and email a scanned copy and send it to volunteer@afhsua.org.

Note: Volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent's signature on their Volunteer Agreement.
