When trash ends up in the San Francisco Bay Estuary everyone suffers, from the tiniest plankton to the biggest leopard shark. Help us stop trash from entering our wetlands. Join us in picking up trash along the the shoreline. Bring gloves if you have them, we'll provide safety vests, trash grabbers, and bags!

Perched on stilts above a salt marsh, the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center is your introduction to the ecology of the San Francisco Bay-Estuary. The Interpretive Center features exhibits, programs and activities designed to inspire a sense of appreciation, respect and stewardship for the Bay, its inhabitants and the services they provide.
