We are currently looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for our upcoming event. We are partnering with Wigle Whiskey for their annual Tree Sale Event. During the Tree Sale Event, people enjoy warm winter cocktails and food while shopping for their perfect tree. Partial proceeds for the event will benefit Family House!
We need volunteers to assist with check-in, picking and tagging trees, carrying and bailing trees, and helping tie trees onto cars. We will also need volunteers who are interested in sitting at our information table, to provide attendees with information about Family House.

Mission Statement
Family House provides a special "home away from home" for adult patients and/or their families who must travel to Pittsburgh for treatment of serious or life-threatening illnesses.
Description
By offering convenient, affordable housing in a home-like environment, through a network of support, comfort and compassion, Family House reduces emotional and financial stress for people facing a desperate medical crisis in a city where they are strangers.
Family House currently has three houses operating: University Place at 116 Thackeray Street, Neville at 514 N Neville Street, and Shadyside at 5245 Centre Avenue.
