Mission statement

At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life. Our motto is: "A Better Way to Care".

Enhabit Hospice is looking for quality Volunteers to provide companionship, socialization, and a listening ear to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.

A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by sitting, conversing, or just listening, running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients. Only the fully vaccinated individuals can see patients. Volunteers have so much to add to the team effort. We also have opportunities for phone conversations and delivery of supplies to our patients, in addition to helping send out cards and letters (administrative help).

I look forward to talking further with you about your desire to help others!

For more information, please call me, or email today. Please note that all Volunteers have to be fully vaccinated, as per company guidelines.
