We have our biggest event of the year, our fundraising gala, coming up on Friday, Nov. 8 th, and we have a huge need for volunteers! We are trying to get the slots filled 10/25.
Here are the details:
The Arc’s Anyone Can Create fundraising gala
- When: Friday, 11/8, 4:15-10:30pm for the event - 14 more people needed
- This shift includes training and helping with tasks like registration, ushering, assisting guests, and silent auction bidding.
- Unfortunately this shift cannot be broken into smaller pieces
- Where: Fair Market, 1100 E 5 th Street, Austin, TX 78702
- Why: Our fundraising effort serves as an opportunity to collectively raise funds to empower central Texans with intellectual disabilities such as autism, seizure disorder, and Down Syndrome. The Arc has been helping to give a voice to those who often cannot speak for themselves, since 1949.

Description
The Arc of the Capital Area provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities through case management, crisis assistance fund, food & clothes pantry, equipment exchange, resource library, special education assistance, respite, support groups, and family & caregiver support. The Arc serves English and Spanish speaking people in the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Hays, and Bastrop.
