Situated in Sally Fox Park, our beautiful historic property needs someone to create behind-the-scenes magic!
Women's Resource Center provides a safe place for women in our community to tell their story and receive assistance during unexpected life transitions. By assisting with keeping our 'home' tidy, you will be a crucial part of making our space warm and inviting to our clients, who are oftentimes facing one of the most difficult times in their life.
WRC is looking for someone to come in twice a month to mop, dust, clean the restrooms & kitchen, etc.
As a small agency we rely heavily on our volunteer support, so the right person be detail oriented and able to work independently.

Request a commitment to a minimum of 6 months of volunteering.
Must be sober and substance free for at least 1 year and be able to provide verification of this.
WRC is not able to accommodate court-ordered community service at this time.

Description
Life transitions can happen suddenly. When these changes occur, the impact can result in not knowing where to turn for help. The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) offers assistance to women in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties.
Women turn to us for many reasons:
