Hello Volunteers!

Manny, our Property Manager at Potter's Lane, could use a hand with general everyday errands. We need people to come out and do the following with him:

1. Pickup Donations: Food, clothing, furniture, holiday decorations, etc.

2. Drop off furniture to new clients

3. Organize the community room/donations

4. General Clean up of Potter's

5. MAYBE assembling furniture for new Veteran moving in

It's the little things that keep AFH up and running and we could use all the help we can get, especially with the holidays coming up. It's all hands on deck!

Please wear comfortable clothes you're not afraid of getting dirty and close-toed shoes.

After signing up, please complete the 'Volunteer Agreement' form found here and bring it with you on the day of service. Note: Volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent's signature on their Volunteer Agreement.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact China Dang (Volunteer Coordinator) at or call at (714) 897 - 3221 x 115.

On the day of service, call Manny Ayala at (657) 203 - 4495 or email at

Hope to see you around!

About American Family Housing

15161 Jackson Street, Midway City, CA 92655, US

Mission Statement

American Family Housing provides a continuum of housing and an array of services to support homeless and low income families and adults to secure a stable home, to be an active part of their community, and to achieve a self-sustaining way of life.

American Family Housing offers a three-tiered housing program for families and individuals who have been homeless. The three-tiered housing programs are:emergency shelter, transitional housing, and independent living/ affordable housing. These programs have been carefully tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Through an initial assessment interview with the case managers, the special needs and abilities of each client are identified. Beginning with their enrollment in the right program, our clients are guided down a clear path from homelessness into stable permanent housing.

We'll work with your schedule.
