A special opportunity for high school students to get their hands wet and earn hours. High school volunteers are trained to interpret to our guests about the Aquarium and the Wildlife Galleries. Participants will receive special instruction on many aspects of aquatic life and conservation; in turn, they share this information with guests at various exhibits in each gallery.
The High School Volunteer Program is a great opportunity to begin building a resume. It is also a perfect addition to your college application!
At the end of their volunteer commitment, High School Volunteer participants will have gained skills in interpretation, public speaking and literary research.
