A special opportunity for high school students to get their hands wet and earn hours.
High school volunteers are trained to interpret to our guests about the Aquarium and the Wildlife Galleries. Participants will receive special instruction on many aspects of aquatic life and conservation; in turn, they share this information with guests at various exhibits in each gallery.

The High School Volunteer Program is a great opportunity to begin building a resume. It is also a perfect addition to your college application!

At the end of their volunteer commitment, High School Volunteer participants will have gained skills in interpretation, public speaking and literary research.

Description

Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium educates the public on the importance of hunting and fishing to conservation. As a volunteer, you can inform our guests about the mysteries of the deep by presenting fascinating facts about our 1.5 million gallon aquarium or share the secrets of the wild by educating our guests on the history of conservation in our fully immersive 4-D wildlife galleries. Free training classes are provided- join our team today!
