Do you think you have what it takes to be a BPP Ambassador? Do you know a hero in your community who would be a perfect fit? We are looking for ambassadors who demonstrate impeccable integrity, an ability to motivate others, perseverance, presence and are hard workers. And, this opportunity can be done from home from any city.

Ahead of our upcoming Holiday Campaign, we are seeking a second team of BPP Ambassadors to help us raise money to continue to provide our free, supplementary educational programs in Nicaragua and Mexico. If you are interested in joining our team, please email LSonis@barrioplantaproject.org for more information by Oct. 23. We will help you build your own fundraising page, give you a toolkit, and successful fundraisers will train you in fundraising. With the right team, we know the Holiday Campaign will be a success!

This is a volunteer position, but we do not accept all applicants into the BPP Ambassador program. We will conduct a short interview prior to the campaign. This is an amazing resume builder and introduction to fundraising for those seeking work in the nonprofit world, or for those who just want to make a difference.

Star ambassadors will be rewarded as follows:

* Raise $1,000: receive a week of volunteering and home stay in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

* Raise $2,000: receive a week of volunteering, home stay and Spanish classes in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua or 2 weeks of home stay and volunteering in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

If you’re interested in being a BPP Ambassador or want to nominate someone for the role, email our International Development Coordinator at LSonis@barrioplantaproject.org by Oct. 23.
