Volunteer photographer needed to capture Smile Train Team EMPOWER's runners at the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. Our staff and supporters will have a 'cheer point' located on 1st Ave. between 91st and 92nd street where all our runners anticipate to get an extra boost of energy. We hope to capture images of all our runners as they pass by!
Smile Train is an international children’s charity that supports 100%-free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care for children globally. Our sustainable model empowers local medical professionals to provide cleft care in their own communities.
Team EMPOWER is the endurance fundraising program of Smile Train that gives athletes all around the world the opportunity to make their race count toward providing free cleft surgery and comprehensive care to children in need. Every step, every lap, and every mile mean more than crossing the finish line - it means more smiles, new beginnings, and the opportunity for children with clefts to live full and productive lives.
