This busy and fast paced event is aimed at younger students in Key Stage 3. In teams the students must consider, design, manufacture and sell vans. Students will need to place their business and identify target markets. They will devise an appropriate marketing and sales strategy before pitching and selling their vans in a highly competitive market place. Smart finance and negotiation skills are key in this challenge.
Due to COVID19 these events are now run virtually to address Careers Information Advice & Guidance with school students while they are in school but business volunteers are not permitted. Bringing the world of work closer to the classroom.

By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.
Description
We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
