The American Kidney Fund is a national nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to kidney patients and promotes awareness of kidney disease and its risk factors: diabetes and high blood pressure. The heath initiatives team supports this mission by attending events in cities where the rate of kidney disease is high and providing free screenings for the risk factors.
I would like to recruit at least 8 volunteers to conduct blood pressure and glucose screenings. Volunteer training will be provided in-person on event day. Breaks will be given throughout event shift. Water and snacks will also be available by our staff. I have provided event details below. Medical background is required.
