Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders is a 501(c)(3) Christian organization dedicated to serving the victims of major disasters in the United States. We were organized in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and have supported rebuilding in all the major hurricanes since then. Our homeowners must be uninsured (no flood insurance) and low-income. We use volunteer labor to make our rebuilding effort more affordable. We're financed from donations and grants.
We are rebuilding in the communities around Panama City in Bay County, hard-hit by Hurricane Michael in 2018. We're excited about working in partnership with our long-time friends, Mercy Chefs. They're providing meals and accommodations for 25 of you each week. We’ll provide the construction leadership, tools and projects - and you provide the energy and passion for serving. You've seen the pictures, but this is definitely the closest thing to Katrina since 2005. One difference - very little flood damage, mostly big wind!
The registration fee is $175/week per individual; this includes room and board for the week. Our minimum age is 16. We plan for teams to arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. You will be rebuilding the interior of homes that were flooded. We have tools but ask teams to bring what they might have if they can do so.
In order to confirm your reservation, you can register online at http://fullercenter.org/disaster-rebuilders/ including paying your registration fee or mail a $175.00 deposit to the address below. If you’d prefer to accomplish a group registration, we can provide forms for roster and skills.
Mail fees to:

Mission Statement
The Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders (FCDR) is a mission partner of The Fuller Center for Housing. It leads The Fuller Center’s response to large-scale disasters where many low-income homes have been destroyed. They operate under the basic philosophy of returning families to their homes by turning unlivable structures back into simple, decent housing. FCDR is different from the covenant partners who operate in a fixed geographical area. They relocate following disasters and stay until significant recovery work has been accomplished, up to two years. If there is a covenant partner in the disaster area, FCDR will mobilize and work in partnership with its local leadership.
