Mission Statement

DSFIT2RUN is a nonprofit 501(C) (3) organization that is registered under both the Charitable Trust and the Solicitation for Charity Acts. We work exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes. Specifically, DSFIT2RUN is dedicated to educating ordinary people on health and fitness. Our mission is to help individuals achieve extraordinary results through healthy eating, education, and proper selection of the appropriate fitness level without costly extraordinary expenses. DSFIT2RUN is committed to Making It Happen by exceeding the expectations of the customer (defined as guest, partner, participant, and employee). We seek to accomplish this goal by achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction with emphasis on the creation of value.

Description

DSFIT2RUN is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the five principles of FRESHH living- Finance, Relationship, Exercise, Spirituality, Happiness and Health. DSFIT2UN was founded in 2010 by Deana, a health and fitness advocate. Deana was inspired to raise money for breast cancer after her mother received a positive diagnosis, and Deana wanted to help raise awareness by joining a fund-raising campaign. When she realized it was too late to register for the Breast Cancer Walk , she decided to raise money for another cause-Leukemia. Training for the cause was rewarding, but the fund-raising effort was very stressful. Hence the idea was born to create a nonprofit organization to help people meet their exercise goal without the stress of fund raising.

DSFIT2RUN has completed 1 Healthy Workshop, 4 FRESHH Annual Conferences, 9 Annual Races (Chicago, DC, MN, WI, CA, NV, MI, TN and Canada), 4 DSFIT2RUN FRIENDS AND FAMILY Hot Chocolate Races AND 9 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH LIFETIME
