Join our Board: CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art)

Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) seeks new members to join our mission-driven working Board. CoCA is a 41-year-old nonprofit whose mission is to amplify important artistic voices including artists from underrepresented groups. CoCA’s diverse, cooperative Board is built on a consensus-driven leadership model. CoCA is a nonprofit located in Seattle.

If you have experience with Board service and expertise in finance, budgeting, accounting or development, please contact newboard@cocaseattle.org . CoCA Board members gain important connections and exposure to the art world, while working with a team that values intercultural communication and mutual respect. All Board members actively participate in leadership, fundraising, and committee service. Mission Statement

Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.

Description

CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 38+ years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
