CoCA, Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art

Seattle’s Center on Contemporary Art is seeking a new Board member for our Curatorial team. CoCA is a successful, small, 38-year-old art nonprofit presenting cutting edge exhibitions. We amplify important voices in contemporary art including artists from underrepresented groups. CoCA’s diverse, cooperative Board is built on a community-focused, inclusive, consensus-driven leadership model.


CoCA has capacity for a new Board member on our staff-supported Curatorial team. If you have Curatorial experience and are interested in Board service with our artist-led organization, contact judy@cocaseattle.org . The Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.

Description

CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 35 years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
