Join our Board: CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art)

Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) seeks new members to join our mission-driven working Board. CoCA is a 41-year-old nonprofit whose mission is to amplify important artistic voices including artists from underrepresented groups. CoCA’s diverse, cooperative Board is built on a consensus-driven leadership model. CoCA is a nonprofit located in Seattle.

If you have experience with Board service and expertise in finance, budgeting, accounting or development, please contact newboard@cocaseattle.org . CoCA Board members gain important connections and exposure to the art world, while working with a team that values intercultural communication and mutual respect. Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.

Description

CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 38+ years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
