Are you an experienced videographer looking for a meaningful project that can boost your resume?

Columbia Slough Watershed Council is seeking a volunteer videographer to produce three short videos (1.5-3 minutes length) to honor three award winners at this year's Slough Celebration Gala, our annual awards banquet and fundraiser, which takes place this coming year on March 13th.

Our award recipients are businesses, organizations, public agencies, and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to watershed stewardship and exceptional contribution to the Council's work over the past year.

The work will take place at various times and places as needed, based on the award winners selected (TBD). Watershed Council staff will meet with the volunteer to generate a project work plan. This volunteer role includes filming, editing, and producing the videos. Videos must be completed in advance of the event on March 13th.

Columbia Slough Watershed Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission to protect and enhance the Columbia Slough and its watershed through community engagement, education, and restoration.

Volunteering with the Council as a videographer will help promote our work and partnerships, and help us achieve our mission!

This position is a great way to gain experience producing videos for non-profits, build your video production portfolio and boost your resume. CSWC staff will be happy to provide references to future employers.

Volunteer must provide their own video production equipment and software. Equipment can be borrowed from the local public access channel and Open Signal:
