This year Satellite Affordable Housing Associats will be hosting over 35 Thanksgiving events! We must start preparing early! First thing on the agenda is creating 108 Gift Bags that will be used as raffle prizes for the celebrations at affordable housing communities around the Bay Area. Come spend a couple of hours helping us stuff these bags full of goodies. We will be working from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at the main office in Berkeley.

Our Community Engagement Program aims to connect SAHA’s residents with the surrounding neighborhood through innovative, high impact, and responsive programs that forge mutually beneficial relationships. Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
