Queen Tryouts for Pasadena Doo Dah Parade

ORGANIZATION: Light Bringer Project

An Entry in the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade
Ann Erdman as Hippie Chick

We need folk/s to check in the Queen Contestants as they arrive, and we need a tshirt seller and some extra hands on deck for show running. It is fun and simple and folksy but we can't do it alone:) The more the merrier.
There are an equal number of costumed judges as there are contestants! Cntestants each have 3minutes at the mike followed by a Q&A. At the end a new Queen and King are crowned.

More info:
The 42nd Pasadena Doo Dah Parade elects a new QUEEN and KING each year. This event happens at the American Legion Post 280. It is 21 and over and the event is a similar experience to The Gong Show or America's Got Talent (not quite as glitzy but equally humorous)! Anyone can tryout and it is up to previous Doo Dah Kings and Queens to judge. There is a band and people imbibe and its fun.

Doo Dah is owned a produced by Light Bringer Project, a nonprofit arts and education organization in Pasadena, who produces Pasadena Doo Dah Parade, Pasadena Chalk Festival, LitFest Pasadena and many arts ed and literacy programs in public schools in Pasadena and great LA.
