The Power In Purple Campaign is a group of women business leaders in Southern Nevada who utilize their networks to raise funds and spread awareness for the American Cancer Society to save lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer. These are fun and exciting opportunities with the ability to network with amazing executive women in our community. We are just beginning our 2020 campaign season. We are looking for amazing volunteers in our community to join our squad! We hope that's you!

Communications Lead

Lead role: The Communications Lead ignites the passion for Power In Purple and your American Cancer Society online within their community.

Individuals in this role are an online voice and connector to the community and Power In Purple. They are comfortable in using a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, forums, etc.) and are willing to learn ways to support and engage Power In Purple ladies through the online fundraising website.

Specific tasks can include:

• Update and maintain the Power In Purple website with the critical information necessary to have a successful Power In Purple campaign including: fundraisers, sponsorship recognition, fundraising progress etc.
• Engage people, update, and maintain the Power In Purple Facebook page.
• Engage people, update, and maintain the Power In Purple Instagram page.
• Engage people, update, and maintain the Power In Purple website.
• Coordinate with the Fundraising Lead to promote fundraisers on social media.
• Write and distribute the Purple buzz Newsletter
• Should the Communications Lead need assistance in planning and executing, recruit others to assist in the quest to get the desired number of women recruited
