Carrera de los Muertos San Diego is a festive and fun 5k & 10k run that will start and finish Embarcadero Park South in downtown San Diego.

Be a part of the race action! Make new friends and have fun while supporting the amazing organizations our race benefits, Corazon de Vida Foundation and SoCal K9 Foundation! Carrera de los Muertos needs amazing volunteers to assist with water stations, registration, pre-race check in, stuffing goody bags, festival area set-up & break-down, cheering the runners on, and more. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, snacks and water, lots of smiles from the participants and a high five!

The event festivities take place at Embarcadero Park South, located Embarcadero Marina Park North 400 Kettner Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. Volunteers to check into the volunteer check-in booth, get their t-shirt and assignment for the day.

A little more about Corazon de Vida Foundation: For 25 years we have been providing life-sustaining assistance to 10 orphanages which provide a loving and secure environment for more than 500 children. The orphanages we support are all located within a couple of hours from our Mexico/San Diego border, giving us the ability to stay connected and aware of their most pressing needs. Through our continuing education program, we provide past orphanage residents the opportunity to go to college or technical school (currently at 40+), giving them the tools needed to succeed in life. We organize monthly one-day trips (chartered bus) to visit the children, we pick up in LA, OC, and SD.
