Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sertoma Centre!
Here at Sertoma Centre, we provide opportunities that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal success. We help over 1,500 individuals annually in the Greater Southside neighborhoods.

• VOLUNTEER with us on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 3:00pm to 10:00 pm. (flexible shift time)
• Catch a ride from Alsip to McCormick Place on our fun-bus, or meet us there at 3 pm.

We need over 150 Volunteers for our big Pack-Up Event at the McCormick Place (2301 S King Dr, Chicago) on March 7, 2023.Will you help?
We’re one of the few Non-Profits invited to the annual Inspired Home Show to accept donated merchandise. This merchandise is later sold at our huge April fundraiser, the Super Sale. All proceeds benefit the Sertoma Centre and our Consumers. But first, we need your help collecting our items, packing them up, and moving them out. Food and fun will be provided! Let’s Do This!

Volunteer Roles:
Booth Workers
Volunteers will be assigned to booths to wrap, pack, box, and place housewares items on pallets. Please note that booths are located throughout all of McCormick Place, making even the closest booth a far distance to walk from the buses. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended.
Booth Leaders
We need Volunteers to manage several booths and oversee the volunteers assigned to the booths. Each Leader will maintain contact with our Communication Hub and oversee other booths as needed. This position will require organizational skills, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
