Heartland Hospice is looking for people who have a little extra time and a lot of heart!
We are a dedicated team that focuses on enhancing the quality of life by providing comfort care as well as spiritual, social and emotional support to patients in the final phase of a terminal illness.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with administrative tasks in the office - filings, mailings, and "tuck-in" calls. If you're a personable, detail-oriented individual, please contact Jessica at 505-323-1464 to discuss ways you can help our office provide great support for our patients and their families!
Every Heartland volunteer receives free and comprehensive training before being assigned a volunteer job generally in the patient's own home. There are also legal requirements including a a current drivers license, background checks, fingerprinting and TB tests.
Please bring your compassion and sense of humor.
