Every SCORE chapter depends on the talent and time of volunteers to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business ownership.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help the Green Bay SCORE Chapter with social media marketing, outreach management, and chapter leadership.

Outreach Chair

SCORE is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that helps small businesses succeed through free one-on-one mentoring and small group educational sessions. Working with SCORE, you immediately benefit your community by improving your local economy through small business success.

We are looking for a volunteer Outreach Chair for the Green Bay Chapter. As the Outreach Chair you will work with the Chapter members and leadership to build and maintain relationships with existing and new SCORE partners and volunteers who promote small business in our service area. Most of the volunteer work can be completed remotely and at your convenience. Estimated time commitment is 3-5 hours per week.

Duties of the Outreach Chair include:

  • Attend and participate in weekly leadership team meetings and monthly chapter meetings.
  • Help establish Partner program goals and monitor progress
  • Create and maintain partner relationships to support small business in the Green Bay service area (Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto Counties in WI and Menominee County, MI).
  • Develop partnership guidelines and communicate them to chapter members.
  • Encourage Chapter volunteers to support chapter events and promote SCORE.
  • Recruit SCORE volunteers during partner interactions
  • Support social media campaigns to highlight Partner activities

Skills required:

  • Excellent team collaboration skills
  • A people person excited about promoting SCORE in the Green Bay area small business community.
  • Well-organized and able manage multiple events and Partners simultaneously.
  • Able to nurture and maintain relationships
  • Technical skills should include: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Google Drive and Gmail. Experience in Salesforce helpful but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
