While this may not seem like the most exciting task, this truly helps make a difference in our organization! Cleaning kennels can be a rewarding task with a strong sense of accomplishment at the end. You have made that pet feel comfortable, well fed, and clean inside their temporary home! This is also one of the best ways to get to know the pet’s personality and how our shelter operates to keep pets happy and healthy while they await a forever home.
- Can choose to clean dog kennels, cat kennels, or both!
- For dogs, this includes scooping, sanitizing, spraying, and drying their kennels + feeding and providing fresh water
- For cats, this includes feeding, providing fresh water, scooping litter boxes, cleaning their kennel walls and floor, and placing fresh newspaper in their kennels
