Goal of the Position: Help enhance the library’s services by assisting staff in MACH supporting programs for school age children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in supporting school age programs in MACH1 Makerspace at Burton Barr
  2. Assist with activities that include technology, computers, sewing & fibercraft, 3D Modeling & Printing.

Qualifications:

  • Be motivated to assist with STEM activities
  • Be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3pm-5pm or 6pm-8pm
  • Enjoy working with adults and children
  • Be timely, organized, energetic, and imaginative.

Training and Support Provided: A general orientation to the library and position specific training. Ongoing support from Coordinator and library staff.

Time Commitment: Monthly

Length of Commitment: Minimum 6 month commitment, we are flexible
