Lake Mead Parkway Trail Cleanup starting at Athens Ave

Share your Sunday morning with us and come to our Lake Mead Parkway Trail Cleanup on Sunday, November 24th from 9am-12pm. We will be meeting at the CVS parking lot at 1402 E Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89015.

This trail runs the length of Lake Mead Parkway from 95 South to the boundary of Lake Mead National Recreation Area to the east. The trail links existing commercial and residential areas, schools, parks, and outdoor recreational trails. It will be a busy morning of picking up trash, sweeping, and beautifying this popular outdoor recreational trail.

We will bring all the tools and supplies for the event. Please wear weather appropriate clothing, a wide brim hat, closed toe shoes, sun protection, and bring your reusable water bottle. In an effort to reduce waste, we will have a water refill station available for you to use.

Note to Groups of 5 or more: If you will be attending the event with more than 5 volunteers, please email volunteer@getoutdoorsnevada.org

Note to minors: If you’re under 18 years old and coming without an adult, you will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be emailed to registrants.

Suggested Clothing: Closed-toe shoes, Long pants, Long-sleeve shirt, Wide-brim hat
What to Bring: Water bottle, Sunscreen
