Seasons Hospice of NJ provides a special type of healthcare to those who are at end of life. We are currently looking for compassionate volunteers to visit patients in their homes or in facilities. Direct Care Volunteers help by providing support and care to our patients and their family members. You can make a difference by...
* Reading aloud
* Playing music
* Creating scrapbooks
* Writing letters or journaling
* Sitting with a patient so caregivers have free time
* Simply providing a comforting presence
Volunteers are required to be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by another trained adult volunteer (usually a parent or guardian). Visits are typically 1-3 hours a week; shifts are flexible and based on your availability. Travel is usually within a 30-minute drive.
