Without our volunteers we would not be able to achieve our mission of alleviating human suffering. As a Volunteer Recruiter you would assist in finding new prospective volunteers for the American Red Cross. You will work closely with the Volunteer Services team on implementing the planned recruitment plan.
This includes but is not limited to hanging up flyers, attending multiple events, creating documents geared to attracting individuals to volunteer for the American Red Cross. Share with the community the great volunteer opportunities available with the American Red Cross of Alaska.
This position is based around your time. You will work closely on creating a schedule that works for you with the Volunteer Recruitment Specialist. Being a people person is a must as you are going to be talking to people out in the community.
