The Friends of the Children's Library (FOTCL) is looking for volunteers to join the board to help fundraise and coordinate programs that support the Children's Library. This group of volunteers is dedicated to enhancing children's interest in reading, literature and experiencing new adventures in the library. FOTCL sponsors the annual Taste of Huntington Beach, Author's Festival, Writing and Illustrating Contest, Tree Trimming event, Homework Club programs and much more.
The Friends of the Children's Library meet at the Central Library on the first Friday of each month at 9:30, coffee and refreshments are served. You are welcome to bring your children if the meeting schedule conflicts with daycare.
