We will be serving the nutritious, healthy, yummy vegetarian food for homeless who are in transitional housing at Alpha Project. We operate San Diego's only 100%-donation based mobile food operation. This will be our first pilot launch at Alpha Project serving 300 ppl, and we want to make sure it is a success!

We start at 11:30 with setup and a quick volunteer meeting, then start serving food at 12pm. We may be moving locations after 1-2 hours to 3 blocks further, as a group. At 3:00pm we start to clean up and wrap-up by 3:30pm. Volunteers will have a chance to eat as well, after our guests have been served.

At Duwara Consciousness Foundation, we prefer to over-book volunteers for more than what we need so that we have time to deliver food with a smile, give a hug where it's needed, and have our guests feel as we are with their community.
