Looking for the purr-fect opportunity to help homeless cats and kittens? The felines at Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society need your time, attention, and most importantly, LOVE until their fur-ever families come to adopt them! Cat Care Volunteers will assist the Cat Program Manager with the care of our adoptable cats and kittens, including feeding, cleaning, and enrichment. But, we also need you to socialize the cats by petting, brushing, and cuddling with them, and playing with them!

Cat Care Volunteers are needed 8am-11am daily, but we also need help with spot cleaning throughout the day!

Please visit https://clermontanimalcare.org/get-involved/volunteer/ to sign up for a New Volunteer Orientation to get started!

Location:

Mission Statement

Our vision is to be a valuable resource for the Clermont County community - reuniting lost companion pets, reducing the stray population, offering opportunities for unwanted animals to be adopted or rescued and providing the public with information and programs for responsible pet ownership. Such a shelter will be a source of pride and a tremendous asset for Clermont County.

Description

Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society was formed in 2017 to bid for the 2018 animal control and sheltering contract in Clermont County, Ohio. While the organization is new, our leaders are not new to animal rescue and sheltering. Members of our Board of Directors and Advisors include multiple entrepreneurs and Clermont County business owners, and those with a breadth and depth of experience covering a vast array of animal welfare categories. Additionally, our members currently hold and have held staff, volunteer and leadership positions with a vast number of rescue groups. Those relationships will serve as a foundation to fortify CARE’s mission of making animal services a source of pride and a tremendous asset for Clermont County.
