Are you looking to help your community, gain work experience, and earn money pay to off your student loans? Become an AmeriCorp! Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is looking for applicants for its ReStore Development AmeriCorps position.

AmeriCorp will be responsible in developing an outreach plan for the Aberdeen ReStore. This outreach plan includes developing standard policies and procedures for operating a ReStore collaborative model with neighboring ReStores. Also, AmeriCorp will be responsible for finding methods that would increase the number of in kind donors. Lastly, AmeriCorp will be responsible for expanding ReStore marketing presence and developing an online sales platform.

Qualified candidate should have experience in using Microsoft office especially in Word and Excel. Candidates should also have experience with social media, publication programs, and marketing platforms. Applicants with strong verbal and communication skills are preferred.

If you are not familiar with the AmeriCorp program it is a federally funded program. You will serve with Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna for 12 months. AmeriCorp will be given a small stipend for the year. After the completion of the service year, AmeriCorp will be given an education award that can be used for school or to pay off student loans. Individuals must have a car to apply.
