Make a real difference in someone's life!

Elara Caring, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

If you are compassionate and enjoy photography, you could become a specialty volunteer that takes pictures at special events, such as Veteran's pinnings, or at the home of a patient and family to capture a "Holding Hands Forever" portrait. The photograph is then given to the family as a keepsake.

All volunteers must have and use their own equipment. We ask that photographs be donated and HIPAA patient privacy rules apply to rights of prints.

Hours are flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends.

For more information, please contact Hattie Kennedy at hkennedy@elara.com.
