Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte is looking for volunteers to teach financial skills to our partner families! When a family is buying a home through Habitat Charlotte, they attend brief classes on homeownership and financial literacy to ensure their success as new homeowners. Volunteers in this role will help facilitate these classes by presenting on skills such as budgeting, building credit, taking loans, etc. By volunteering your time, you will be helping us partner with more families in our mission to end poverty housing in the Charlotte area.

Description
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region builds houses in partnership with low income working families who purchase the homes at low interest and no profit. Volunteer labor and donated items help keep house costs low. Families must work on their own and other's homes.

- Current or former financial services expert. Needs of expertise include: a. Comfortable teaching on Zoom b. Accounting and/or banking practices c. Estate and/or will planning
