New Vision Organization, Inc founded in 2004, advocated for the incarcerated population nationwide. Now focused only in Massachusetts, and serving life/LWOP for any first-time offense. Prisoners are too often stereotyped, which is wrong, as each situation and case is different. Some involving mental illnesses at the time, some addictions, some wrongful convictions, etc. This Organization seeks non-Biased, Probono Lawyers to assist prisoners in areas of Civil RIghts' Violations, Appeals, Post-Conviction Cases. In addition, we seek to recruit Probono Lawyer/s to oversee the work of the Organization's Volunteer Law Student Advocates. All Interested parties can contact: Leonna Abraham Brandao at nvopres@verizon.net or phone (508) 583-0051.
