ORGANIZATION: Project CURE

Research Assistant

This position will assist Project C.U.R.E.'s Grant Writing Department by obtaining funds to send medical supplies to developing countries around the world.

Scope and Responsibilities

The research assistant will help the grant writers by researching possible funding sources to send grant proposal. You need to be willing to give 4 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. You will be researching for private and foundation funders for multiple and varied global healthcare projects. We have a national grant database that you will be using to research possible funders.

Qualifications.

  • Strong research methods, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite.

Compensation

Project C.U.R.E.'s Research Assistant is unpaid. Participants in our program receive substantial work experience and training in researching possible grant funders.

Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has provided millions of dollars of donated medical supplies and equipment to sick and dying people living in more than 138 developing countries. Project C.U.R.E. serves as a liaison between we who have so much and those who have too little. With its International Headquarters located in Centennial, Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has major operations in Denver, Chicago, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia) and Phoenix. Project C.U.R.E. ships millions of dollars in lifesaving medical supplies, sending an average of two to three semi-truck sized cargo containers each week to nearly every continent on the globe.
