The Thomson Memorial Prairie preserve is a beautiful remnant of dry prairie that has managed to survive in a mostly agricultural landscape. Join us for two work parties in late fall to help restore the prairie! Volunteers will assist in clearing invasive brush and trees such as boxelder, elm, and mulberry.

What to Bring/Wear: Dress for the weather and wear long pants and work gloves if you have them. Bring water.
Directions: Coming from Madison, take 151 toward Blue Mounds. Near Blue Mounds, turn left (south) on Hwy F. At the intersection of Z and F, take Hwy Z and continue for a quarter mile, and park along the side of the road.
