The Marketing & Communications Intern will work directly with our Development Team to help with our organizational marketing needs. The Intern will create and publish web and social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube), design and create collateral, build and manage our stories database, and more. This role is ideal for a multi­talented digital media expert, with an interest in helping our neighbors in need. We're looking for someone with strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills; Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. This an unpaid position, requiring 10-15 hours per week, for 3-6 months.

America's Second Harvest is the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization. We are a member of this national network of over 200 food banks and food-rescue programs that distribute donated food through 50,000 charitable agencies to hungry Americans. America's Second Harvest distributes food to 23.3 million hungry people each year. Locally we distributed 2.1 m. lbs of food in Lake and Porter counties in Northwest Indiana in 2005 through our own network of over 90 agencies.
