Hello! Our annual birthday party and halloween celebration is on October 26th. We need your help to put on an excellent celebration!
Our special events generally feature a food or snack, and a craft or activitiy. We need help keeping supplies stocked and making sure our guests get what they need. Any level of experience qualifies you for these jobs - your help is appreciated!

Mission Statement
The Great Lakes Children's Museum creates hands-on, interactive and informal educational environments for children and the adults in their lives that invite curiosity, allow exploration, and celebrate the child-like wonder in all of us.
Description
Volunteers are vital to making the Museum run smoothly. Volunteers make it possible for the Museum to offer exciting, educational, safe experiences for all our visitors. Contributing your time and skills benefits our community, while developing new skills and interests, meeting new friends, and making a difference in the life of a child. The Museum provides endless challenges for creativity, imagination, and exploration, and is currently looking for help to fulfill its mission. There is a variety of volunteer opportunities available, from one-time to short and long term.

- The event runs from 12:30 to 4:30. We are asking volunteers to help set up at 12:00 and stay until at least 4:00 when the crowds will begin to thin out.
- This event mostly features volunteer opportunities that work with children and families. Training is available for those that would like to increase their comfort level around children.
