Our Mission:

Poppy Life Care is a United States non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is determined to educate and empower children and their parents struggling with children’s health issues related to spectrum disorders, development disorders, ADHD, anxiety and depression. Our goal is to facilitate awareness and education while building innovative care programs, which we hope to accomplish alongside our local communities, its businesses and people. We believe in helping each other as part of an ecosystem of local business, healthcare groups, academic institutions and professionals alike.

Not only are we passionate about what we do, but WHY we do it, which is to help children and their families that are struggling with spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression and more. We want to do our part in changing their quality of life for the better.

We believe that we can make a real impact on children's health by implementing unique care programs that include an interdisciplinary approach to education, treatment and therapies. We also believe that care, education, and support for children and their families should be easily accessible.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively manage and carry out the organization's operational processes, working with minimal supervision
• Support the Executive Director in formulating strategic/operational objectives
• Drafting/editing/finalization of contracts, forms, and other documents critical to internal/external programs and organizational function, ensuring legal compliance where necessary
• Improving existing management structures and operational procedures
• Strategic planning and oversight of new and existing programs
• Coordination and supervision of Operations volunteers
  
• Preferably able to work on site in Newport Beach, CA from our Hoag office (schedule flexible)

Time Commitment Minimum:

Flexible, 10-15 hours per week, with weekly meetings. Weekly meeting may be scheduled during normal business hours (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST) either at our office or via phone. Minimum 3 month commitment required

Requirements:

• Must have experience in Operations/Management
• B usiness or management background preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully lead a small team
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and prioritize where necessary
• Strategic thinker, with the ability to think critically, analyze situations, and direct desired outcomes
• Reliable and committed to the role and seeing tasks/projects through to completion
• Technologically proficient with consistent a ccess to stable internet/phone connection
