Our organization is currently seeking a Development Director to oversee our donor relations program and manage our fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our non-profit’s fundraising campaigns, communicating with current and prospective donors, and building a stronger development team for our organization. This position involves managing individual and corporate gifts as well as planned and annual giving campaigns. If you have a strong background in non-profit fundraising and development, we encourage you to apply. We are willing to assist this person as well, it could lead to potential earning opportunities as well.

CBTA is a non-profit trades and vocational training organization that provides disadvantaged individuals over 18 with employability skills through hands on, books, and online learning in construction trades preparation leading to pre-apprenticeships in carpentry. Our goals are accomplished through continuous efforts that Create, Build, Transform, and Inspire a cadre of skilled individuals who will put into practice the following Habits of Success: Commitment, Collaboration, and Community.

Construction Based Trades Academy (CBTA), a non-profit trades and vocational training organization that provides disadvantaged individuals over 18 with employability skills through hands on, book, and online learning in construction trades preparation leading to opportunities and/or apprenticeships in carpentry. We are a new grassroots organization looking forward to growth!

DESCRIPTION
The primary purpose of Creative Builders Trades Academy (CBTA) Incorporated is to afford economically, educationally, and/or socially disadvantaged young adults the opportunity to attend a Trades School in the field of Construction. This organization and its potential collaborating associate member organizations will be committed to providing the needed social, vocational, personal & workforce development skills an individual will need to be job-ready and skilled-specific as they enter the workforce. To organize, operate, and implement an affordable "Vocational Trades School" that will provide a classroom hands-on training service in the residential construction and remodeling fields; with emphasis placed on framing, interior/exterior finishing, and carpentry skills.

  • Background Check
  • One Saturday a month for 2 hours and potential phone calls with the fund raising committee.
  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field Fundraising experience Foundation relationships and grant writing experience Familiarity with Razor’s Edge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Excellent writing skills
