We need one to two people to help us out at our resource table at the FIT Diversity Comic Con! We would love an energetic, passionate person who is interested in our cause of preventing human trafficking through education and art!

The FIT Diversity Comic Con is an annual celebration of multiculturalism and acceptance of all colors, creeds and genders in the sequential arts. Hosted and funded by The Diversity Council at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Organized by Ramon Gil & Comics Forces.

Mission Statement

Saving Jane empowers survivors of all forms of modern day slavery and human trafficking to live the life that they want to live. Saving Jane is committed to ending all forms of these crimes through raising of the public’s awareness, education, the transformation of lives of impacted individuals, and the creation of systems, technology and policies to protect and support impacted individuals or prevent the formation of social conditions conducive to trafficking.

Description

Saving Jane, partnered with the James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, is an organization operated by a group of highly dedicated people of diverse backgrounds dedicated to educating at-risk children against the threat of human trafficking. In addition to educating youth, our goals are to help trafficked people escape and recover their lives and dignity while providing them skills to begin life as free human beings.
