The Dusty Joy Foundation (LiveLung) is hosting its first annual Gala and Silent Auction the evening of Saturday, November 2, 2019. LiveLung's mission is focused on advancing lung cancer awareness, early detection and compassion for people impacted by lung cancer. This charity event will be held at the Morehead inn, 1122 East Morehead St., Charlotte. The theme is "A World of Hope" and it will reflect the ever-growing hope for the people diagnosed with lung cancer. Each of the rooms in the historic Morehead Inn will feature food and wine from a different country around the world. Our goal is to fund our Charlotte programs, which include monthly support group meetings and hundreds of gift bags distributed to newly diagnosed lung cancer patients. We need volunteers so that our lung cancer patients and their caregivers can enjoy a wonderful evening out! You can work a 2-3 hour shift anytime during the day for setup or the evening to help with registration and the silent auction, etc. We look forward to having your help!

better for people facing this disease. We're reaching out and we hope you will take our hand to receive strength from us...or give us strength. Lung cancer is a difficult topic. Most think they know about it. Few do...until they are personally touched by it. Find out more about us, about lung cancer and what you can do to fight it with us.
We are a new, start-up nonprofit organization that is currently operated entirely by volunteers. We have no paid staff positions. We are using a variety of programs to reach communities with lung cancer education and compassion. We could really use your ideas and help!
